• With two tackles in the first half against Iowa in the Vrbo Citrus Bowl, he sustained an ankle injury and did not return in the second half until midway through the fourth quarter … Finished with six stops, plus the game-clinching interception with 1:48 remaining – his first pickoff of the season and second of his career
• Made 12 tackles, including one for loss, at Mississippi State, his second double-figure tackle game of the season (13 vs. Florida)

2020 – Junior (Team Captain)

• Third on the team in total tackles with 60, second with four QBH
• Also had 2.5 TFL, a pass breakup and a fumble recovery
• Had a season-high nine tackles vs. Mississippi State
• Had six tackles and shared a one-yard tackle for loss at Florida … His fumble recovery in the second quarter on the UF 38 set up a UK touchdown drive… It was the fi rst recovery of his career
• Elected one of 10 team captains

2019 – Sophomore
• Started in 12 games
• Second on the team in tackles with 69
• Also had 4.0 TFL, 1.5 sacks, three QBHs, a PBU, an interception and a forced fumble
• Had a career-best 11 tackles and had his first career interception in his first career start vs. Toledo in the season opener
• First UK player with at least 10 tackles, a half sack, 1 TFL and an interception since Josh Forrest vs. Louisiana on Sept. 5, 2015

2018 – Freshman
• Played in all 13 games with one start vs. Penn State
• Earned Freshman All-SEC honors by the league coaches after totaling 35 tackles, 3.5 TFL, three QBHs, one PBU and one forced fumble
• In his first collegiate start vs. Penn State in the VRBO Citrus Bowl, Ɵ ed his career-high of six tackles, including a six-yard quarterback sack
• Charted three tackles in his collegiate debut

High School
• A hard-hitting linebacker at powerhouse Cass Tech
• Rated a four-star player and No. 20 outside linebacker nationally
• Played both sides for head coach Thomas Wilcher
• Had 94 tackles, two interceptions and forced four fumbles to help Cass Tech advance to the Division 1 state semifinals as a senior
• Named first-team All-State by the Michigan High School Football Coaches AssociaƟ on and the AP
• Played in the Offensive-Defense All-American Bowl in New Orleans, charting eight tackles
• Helped his team capture the Division I state title with a perfect 14-0 record in 2016, the first undefeated season in program history
• Won the 2014 and 2016 conference championship

DeAndre Says
• Other than playing in the NFL, his dream job is to be a coach or athletic trainer
• He chose UK because it was the best place for him to play and he loved the atmosphere and the fans
• The person he admires most is his mom because she works so hard
