2022 Heroes’ Day

UK Athletics will host its annual Heroes’ Day football game on Saturday, Sept. 17 (noon ET) vs. the Youngstown State Penguins.

Kentucky football is proud to honor all active and reserve members of the armed forces along with police, firefighters and first responders on Heroes’ Day.

Among the tentative plans for Heroes’ Day are a football-field sized American flag for the national anthem, which will be presented by the UK Air Force ROTC and UK Army ROTC, recognition of personnel throughout the game and military VIPs in attendance. The Wildcat Marching Band will also perform at halftime accompanied by pyrotechnics, paying special tribute to military.

Beginning July 18 through GovX, UK Athletics will offer the aforementioned heroes one (1) complimentary ticket to the game in addition to specially priced guest tickets by purchasing through GovX, while supplies last.
