UK Men's Basketball Tickets
2022-23 Ticket Information
Interested in new season tickets? A lottery system is in place to award new season tickets each year. Due to the extremely high renewal rate of men’s basketball season tickets, only a limited number of upper-level tickets are available each year through the lottery.
Renewals:
Season ticket renewals for 2022-23 will begin on July 28 through My UK Account. All returning season ticket holders from the 2021-22 season will receive information by email when the renewal campaign begins. Paper invoices will be mailed in mid-August. The priority renewal deadline is Thursday, September 8.
Payment Plans:
All season ticket holders must be paid in full or enrolled in a payment plan by the priority renewal deadline of Thursday, September 8. No-interest payment plans are available when renewing through My UK Account. Payment plans allow you to split your season tickets, club membership and K Fund donation into four or five monthly installments, with the initial installment due upon sign-up (by September 8). Your credit/debit card will automatically be charged for the remaining payments on 10/7, 11/4, and 12/2. If you select the five-month plan, your fifth installment will be charged on 1/6/23. UK Athletics reserves the right to invalidate season tickets if payments are not in compliance with the established due dates.
Seat Upgrades:
Seat upgrades may be requested when renewing your seats online. All requests to move seats will be evaluated in late September, based on the K Fund priority system, and they are based on availability. Due to time constraints, the UK Ticket Office is unable to contact account holders individually during the upgrade process. The ticket office will automatically move your seats if there are seats available that meet your request. It is important to be specific with where you want to move and where you do not want to move, including the price levels you are interested in, when submitting your request. If your upgrade results in additional money due and you are on a payment plan, the additional money due will be added into your future payment plan installments. If you have paid in full, the difference will automatically be charged to your same credit card at the time your seats are upgraded. A limited number of seat upgrades from the upper level into the lower level corner/endcourt areas may be available for the 2022-23 season, as part of the upgrade process. Additionally, a limited number of lower level seats are currently available with a K Fund pledge commitment. For more information on K Fund seating availability in the lower level, please contact the K Fund Office at (859) 257-6300.
State Farm Champions Classic & CBS Sports Classic:
The 2022 State Farm Champions Classic will be held November 15 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, featuring UK vs. Michigan State and Kansas vs. Duke. The 2022 CBS Sports Classic will be held December 17 at Madison Square Garden in New York, featuring UK vs. UCLA and Ohio State vs. North Carolina.
Information about neutral site games will be available on our Special Events page. Details about requesting tickets will be communicated to season ticket holders via email.
SEC Tournament:
The 2023 SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament will take place March 8-12 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN. Ticket booklets are $360 each for upper-level seating. Season ticket holders may order booklets online through My UK Account. Log-in to your account and click “Buy Tickets” at the top of the home screen. Season ticket holders who qualify for 100-level or 200-level tickets ($450-$550 each) will automatically be charged for the difference once seats are assigned in early 2023. Each school receives a limited number of tickets; therefore, there is a limit of 2 SEC Tournament ticket booklets per account. If we cannot fulfill your order, you will be notified after the deadline and refunded. All tickets will be mobile. SEC orders are due by Friday, October 14.
Mobile ticketing for all home athletic events will continue for the 2022-23 season, as announced in the fall of 2020. All tickets will be issued via mobile delivery, and fans will use the UK Athletics app to access and manage their tickets on a smartphone. Tickets can be viewed, scanned, sent to family & friends and posted for resale through My UK Account.
Beginning with the 2022-23 Men’s and Women’s Basketball seasons, SafeTix™ will be implemented as an additional feature on mobile tickets. To fight fraud, Ticketmaster launched SafeTix™, which uses an encrypted barcode that automatically refreshes every 15 seconds so the barcode cannot be stolen and used by another fan. Your mobile tickets will now show a unique barcode with a blue line running across it, and they will convert to a tap-and-go ticket when stored in your phone’s digital wallet. The process for accessing mobile tickets has not changed; however, with SafeTix™, screenshots or recordings of tickets will no longer work for entry. This enhancement protects against digital tickets being copied and sold multiple times by fraudulent resellers. Fans may still transfer tickets through their accounts and the UK Athletics app.
All season tickets and single-game tickets purchased directly through the UK Ticket Office will correspond with a My UK Account. To log-in, visit UKathletics.com/MyUKAccount or tap the Tickets menu and “Manage My Tickets” button within the UK Athletics app. We will provide additional resources in October to assist fans with mobile ticketing, prior to the beginning of the season. Visit the Mobile Tickets page for more information and helpful tips!
Home Games:
Tickets will go on sale later in the fall (typically in mid-October and late November) exclusively online through Ticketmaster.com or through the Ticketmaster app.
Away Games:
The UK Ticket Office receives a very limited allotment of tickets to accommodate players and coaches guests; therefore, tickets are not available to the general public. To purchase tickets for away games, please contact the host institution.
