Junior (2016): SEC Pitcher of the Week (3/14) … Has thrown an SEC-leading and team-leading three no-hitters this season, with her first-career no-hitter coming on Feb. 20 against South Dakota when she went the distance on no hits with a then-career-high nine strikeouts … That strikeout personal high of nine would be broken the next weekend, as she struck out 12 Evansville batters as she moved to 7-0 on the season … Her second no-no of the season came against Winthrop, as she went the distance on eight strikeouts and no walks … Prince was just one HBP batter away from a perfect game against the Eagles … Second Kentucky in wins, with 17, and is now 19-4 on the season … Was just two batters away from a perfect game in her start against Indiana on March 9, let it slip away with an infield single in the top of the seventh and one out in the inning … Pitched a complete game in the Saturday game of the South Carolina series, allowing just one run on six hits to pick up her 10th win of the season … Against the Gamecocks, also came into the game in the bottom of the seventh with two on and no outs in a 4-0 game to collect her first save of the season, not allowing a single runner to score and preserve the shutout to cap off the SEC Opening Weekend sweep … Allowed just one run vs. Ole Miss in the Saturday game of that series, picking up her career-high tying 11th win of the season in just 11 tries – a perfect record in that regard … Became the first pitcher in the SEC since Kelsi Dunne in 2009 to record three no-hitters in a single season with a no-hitter against NKU … Picked up her 10th complete game of the season in a road win against Arkanasas on Saturday, holding Arkansas to one run … Earned the win in game two of a doubleheader with Ohio … Threw a complete-game shutout on the road at No. 8 LSU on Sunday to clinch the series win on the road of a top-10 SEC team … Threw her fifth complete-gamer shutout of the season at WU on April 20, only allowing one hit in the game … Had wins over Mississippi State in extra innings on Friday night and also on Saturday afternoon, throwing six scoreless innings … Started the SEC Tournament quarterfinal game with LSU.
Sophomore (2015): Saw a lot more action in the circle with a 13-8 record and 3.43 ERA in 104 innings pitched … Started the season with seven innings against Florida A&M, allowing two runs – one earned – on five hits with a career-best 11 strikeouts … Tossed six innings against Florida State in a losing effort, allowing just two earned runs with seven strikeouts … Pitching in her home state for the first time, she tossed five shutout innings against TTU with three strikeouts … Five good innings against Murray State with two runs allowed – one earned – on three hits with five strikeouts for her eighth win of the season … Best outing of the season against No. 1 LSU, tossing 4.1 scoreless innings against the Tigers with only two hits allowed and five strikeouts … Tossed 5.1 innings against Alabama with one earned run allowed and three hits with five strikeouts … Followed that with a complete game against FAU with one earned run allowed and five strikeouts … Followed her worst outing of the year at Auburn with a win in the three appearances that followed, tossing 16.2 innings during that stretch with only two earned runs allowed and 15 strikeouts, limiting opponents to a .172 average … Came out of the bullpen and threw two scoreless innings against Northwestern with one strikeout in her first career NCAA Tournament appearance … Tossed an innings against Florida in the Super Regional with one strikeout.
Freshman (2014): Went 8-4 with a 3.47 ERA in 70.2 innings pitched with 61 strikeouts … First career outing was a success with seven innings vs. Loyola Marymount, allowing only one run on three hits with seven strikeouts … Came on in the fifth inning vs. Texas to get the win, throwing three scoreless innings against the highly ranked Longhorns … Picked up all three wins in UK’s home tournament, coming out of the bullpen in all three games to clinch the UK wins … Threw 6.1 innings against Missouri, allowing seven runs in a no-decision … Earned a win against Saint Francis, going five scoreless innings with five strikeouts … Hurried in from the bullpen against Auburn after Cumbess’ injury to throw six innings with six earned runs on eight hits with five strikeouts … Threw 5.2 innings in the series-clinching win over Texas A&M to pick up her seventh win of the season … Brilliant in the Ole Miss series, throwing four innings combined in two games to pick up the first save of her career … Tossed two scoreless innings Saturday and Sunday vs. Ole Miss with six combined strikeouts … Got the win vs. Tennessee with three scoreless innings in relief, striking out four with three hits allowed … Started in the SEC Championship game and went 3.2 innings allowing one earned run on three strikeouts.
High School: An excellent pitcher and hitter for Westview High School under head coach Jessica Hightower … Four-year letterwinner that owns several school records, including strikeouts in a season and strikeouts in a game when she fanned 22 batters in an eight-inning contest … Did not play as a freshman due to injury, but led the team in ERA the next three seasons, while also pacing the team in batting average her junior year … Had a great senior season going 20-3 with a 0.51 ERA with two perfect games, including one in the district championship game … Went 21-6 her junior season with 313 strikeouts in 173 innings pitched en route to a 0.73 ERA … Had a 0.41 ERA her sophomore season … Countless awards being selected Jackson Sun’s 2013 Pitcher of the Year and 2013 Tennessee Softball Coaches Association Class AA Miss Softball … Named Class AA All-State by TSCA in 2012 and 2013, while being selected for the TSCA All-Star Game last season … All-District honoree in 2011, 2012 and 2013, and Regional 13AA All-Tournament Team in 2012 and 2013 … Also earned the District 13AA Tournament MVP award in 2013 and was named the team’s MVP her junior and senior season … Graduated top 10 in her class at Westview High School being named to the District All-Academic Team in 2013 … Daughter of Todd and Dana Prince … Plans a major in Ag Biotech.
