2018 (Senior): Hit .306 and an on-base percentage of .366 on the year … Had 13 RBI’s this year, including her 6th-career multi-RBI game against Cal State Fullerton in a game she also won in the circle … Also had a multi-RBI game vs. Louisville … Has 45 hits in 140 at bats, and has scored 30 runs … Converted to a slapper in week 2 of the 2017 season after never having done it in an NCAA game before in her career … 17 stolen bases, which tied with Bailey Vick for most on the team … Has 13 multi-hit games. Pitching: Started 14 games this season, and sported an 11-5 record in the circle … Was 2-0 in the Lexington Regional without allowing an earned run and throwing just over 100 combined pitches … Both games she pitched in the regionals were complete-game shutouts … With her Regional Final win, she set a new career high for wins in a season with 11 … Clinched the series win over South Carolina with a complete game in the circle, also punching UK’s ticket to the SEC Tournament on her own Senior Day … Went the distance in a 10-2 win over New Mexico State for her first win of the season, and UK’s first win of the 2018 year … Also had a complete-game performance in a run-rule 10-2 win against Cal State Fullerton at the Campbell/Cartier Classic in San Diego … Also went the distance in an 8-4 midweek win over NIU in whoch she struck out six batters and only walked one … Threw a complete-game shutout over Louisville in the “Battle of the Bluegrass”, walking none and striking out five … Threw a complete-game shutout over EKU on the road, only allowing two hits.

2017 (Junior): Hitting: Hit .303 at the plate with hits in 33 games this season, including 15 multi-hit games … Converted to a slapper after the first week of the season to try and utilize her speed more and prevent striking out … Drove in 13 runs, after driving in six all of her first two seasons combined … Is extremely fast on the basepaths, having stolen 18 bases this season in 19 tries (.947), to lead all UK players and rank 55th nationally … Went 4-for-4 vs. Drexel, and tied the school record with four stolen bases in the game … Has a hit in each of the last two games … Had three multi-RBI games since converting to a slapper … Scored the game-winning run vs. Michigan on heads-up baserunning on a scamper home from third on a Megan Betsa wild pitch … Scored both runs in UK’s 2-1 win at #16 Georgia by getting on with a single, stealing a base, getting moved over by a SAC bunt – and then scoring on a SAC fly … Those two runs marked the first multi-run game of her career as the previous 21 had all been scoring one run in 21 different games. 

2015 (Freshman): Finished the year with a 2.85 ERA and 4-1 record in 51.2 innings pitched … Pitched for the first time in the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic and did well, tossing six innings with only one run allowed and five strikeouts … First career appearance came vs. No. 10 Arizona, coming on in the bottom of the 7th inning with a runner on and getting a groundout for the save … Tossed 1.2 innings against Long Beach State with a strikeout and no hits allowed … Went four innings against Oklahoma with three hits allowed and only one run and four strikeouts … Tossed a then-season-high 5.1 innings against TAMU in a no-decision, allowing just one earned run … First complete-game win of her career came against her home-state school Indiana, tossing seven strong innings with only one run allowed and seven hits with four strikeouts … Tossed six innings combined in the Auburn series with three earned runs allowed and three strikeouts … Threw three total innings against LSU with two earned runs allowed and three strikeouts … Threw 2.1 scoreless and hitless innings against Florida with two walks in a no-decision … Did not allow a hit against Tennessee in the SEC Tournament, tossing 1.1 innings, but received the loss after three walks and a UK error … Hit .115 with 52 at-bats with two doubles and four RBI … First career at-bat was a single up the middle for an RBI against San Diego State … Went 2-for-4 in the Auburn series … Had an RBI double against Tennessee in the SEC Tournament … Her bat came alive in regional play with two hits, including a clutch two-RBI double against Ball State.

High School: A talented athlete both in the circle and at the plate for Huntington North High School in Huntington, Ind. … Missed some time her senior year with a injury, but finished strong with a 13-2 record in the circle, including a 0.80 ERA and 138 strikeouts in 96.2 innings pitched … Also hit well her senior year with a .300 average and three homers … Was named the 2014 News-Sentinel Softball Player of the Year and was 2014 Indiana Miss. Softball … As a junior, Rethlake had a breakout season for the Vikings, posting a 23-1 record in the circle with a 0.18 ERA and 317 strikeouts in 154 innings pitched … Succeeded at the plate her junior year, hitting .486 with 14 homers and 36 RBI … Her strong junior year lead her to be named the Gatorade Indiana Softball Player of the Year … Also a first-team all-conference and first-team all-state honoree each of the last two seasons … During her three years in high school, Rethlake has helped lead the Vikings to the sectional and regional championships all four seasons, including a state-runner up award her sophomore season … Outside of softball, Rethlake was active in high school as a member of the National Honors Society, Student-Athlete Board, Huntington Class Council and Future Educators of America … She was a member of the school’s honor roll and volunteered at youth softball leagues … Rethlake is the daughter of Troy and Mindy Rethlake and has two sisters, Ashley and Emily.
