Kentucky and Mississippi State Postpone Opener, Playing Two Saturday

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The kickoff to Kentucky Softball Senior Weekend between Kentucky and No. 17 Mississippi State has been postponed to Saturday due to weather in the Lexington, Kentucky area.

UK and MSU will now play a doubleheader Saturday afternoon beginning at 1:30 p.m. ET with game two at 4:30 p.m. ET. Both games will be on SEC Network+ and the ESPN app.

Senior Day ceremonies will be held before game two, with the program scheduled to begin at 4:15 p.m. ET.

Ticket holders for both Friday’s game and Saturday’s game will be admitted into John Cropp Stadium with Friday tickets taking seating priority for the 1:30 p.m. ET game, and Saturday ticket holders taking seating priority for the 4:30 p.m. ET game.
