Kentucky Softball Opens Fall Exhibition Season Sunday Afternoon

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Softball team’s will open its fall exhibition season Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. ET at John Cropp Stadium against Eastern Kentucky.

As with all fall games, admission is free to the games and there are no assigned seats, so seating will be first come, first served. Fans are also permitted to bring in all food and drink for their own consumption, excluding alcoholic beverages. There will be no operational concessions for fall games with the exception of the Oct. 20 game vs. Miami (OH) for the Big Blue Boo 3.

Gates will open one hour prior to first pitch for each game of the fall season. Parking is available in the John Cropp Stadium lots for free with overflow parking located at Kroger Field, if needed.

Fans should be reminded that all fall games are unofficial. The final scores and all statistics do not count and are not publicized. While rules and substitution patterns are followed as close as possible to the official NCAA rulebook, there will be times teams agree to deviate from the NCAA Softball rulebook to get players opportunities and create certain circumstances.

Sept. 17 – vs. EKU (1pm ET)

Sept. 24 – vs. Parkland College (Noon ET, DH)

Sept. 28 – vs. Georgetown (6pm ET)

Oct. 1 – vs. Lipscomb (1pm ET)

Oct. 8 – at Notre Dame, vs. UIC (at Notre Dame) – TBA

Oct. 20 – vs. Miami (OH) (8pm ET) (Big Blue Boo!) (SEC Network+)
