Kentucky/USC Cancelled Saturday, Doubleheader on Sunday

by Chris Shoals

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky and South Carolina game officials have cancelled Saturday’s softball game due to rain in the Lexington area. The two teams will now play a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at 11 a.m. ET with game two 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.

All Senior Day ceremonies have been pushed back to Sunday and will take place before game one of the doubleheader on Sunday, around 10:40 a.m. ET.

Tickets to both games two and three of the series will be accepted to both games on Sunday. If fans have a reserved seating ticket for game two of the series, they can still enter and sit in that reserved seat for game one of the doubleheader on Sunday. They will then be asked to move to a different location for game two of the doubleheader if someone has their reserved seat for game three of the series.
