LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky women’s softball team will host a winter camp on Dec. 30, 2001 for girls ages 8-18 at the Nutter Field House on the UK campus from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. UK Coaches Beth Kirchner and Lynda Cook will run the camp with assistance from current UK varsity players.

The camp will be broken into three separate sessions, each focusing on a different aspect of the fastpitch game. The first session will focus on pitchers and catchers primarily while the second session will be geared toward defensive fundamentals. The final session will focus on the fundamentals of hitting.
