EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Day two of the Evansville Aces’ Softball Classic,Sunday, March 19, has been rained out and will not be made up. The UKsoftball team and Loyola-Chicago were named co-champions of the tournamentwith both squads sporting undefeated records.

The Cats were 2-0 on Saturday, scoring a 4-0 win over Evansville and alop-sided 16-0 victory over Indiana. Loyola won its three games Saturday.The two teams were slated to play at noon (EST) on Sunday.

UK (13-13) returns to action on Wednesday, March 22, when the Cats playhost to the Akron Zips in a doubleheader at the UK Softball Complex. Firstpitch is set for 2 p.m. with the second game slated for a 4 p.m.
