LEXINGTON, Ky. – Due to heavy rain in the Lexington area the past 24 hours, the No.12 University of Kentucky softball team’s doubleheader with Ohio has been delayed two hours and will not start at 3 p.m. ET at John Cropp Stadium. The second game will begin approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of game one.

The series opener was originally scheduled to start at 1 p.m. ET Saturday before several inches of rain passed through the Lexington area Friday. Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET series finale is still on schedule.

All three games can be seen live on the SEC Network+ with Dick Gabriel and former Purdue head coach, Louisville associate head coach and Michigan assistant coach Carol Bruggeman calling the action. Live stats will also be available on UKathletics.com.
