UK SB Notebook: Single-Game Tickets on Sale, Cats #15, Media Day

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Softball team announced on Tuesday that single-game tickets are now available through the UK Athletics Ticket Office. Fans now have the opportunity to secure their seats for one of 16 exciting home games this season.
 
The home schedule features Southeastern Conference series against Texas A&M, Tennessee, Florida and Arkansas in addition to midweek contests against in-state foes Morehead State, Louisville and Northern Kentucky.
 

Tickets begin at $5 for general admission and run up to $8 for reserved seating in section D of John Cropp Stadium.
 
Wildcats Ranked to Start 2020
For the seventh-straight season, Kentucky is inside the top 20 of both major polls to start the year. The Wildcats are slotted as the No. 15 team in the initial release of the National Fastpitch Coaches’ Association/USA Today top-25 poll. In the USA Softball/ESPN.com media poll, UK was assigned the No. 16 position by the pollsters.
 
Media Day 2020
On Tuesday, Feb. 4, the Kentucky Wildcats will face the media for the first official time of the 2020 campaign. Head coach Rachel Lawson will hold her annual press conference at Noon ET, with coverage live streamed on UKathletics.com. Players Autumn Humes, Kayla Kowalik, Alex Martens and Mallory Peyton will conduct interviews following with full coverage following the event at UKathletics.com.
