ESPNU to Televise Home Game vs. Missouri
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky and its corporate
partners at ESPN announced on Friday that UK’s home game on April 17 has been
picked up for a national television audience, and will be shown live on ESPNU.
First pitch, as was scheduled, will remain at 1 p.m. ET from John Cropp Stadium
in Lexington.
April 17th will mark the eighth
nationally-televised game for Kentucky in 2016, marking a new program high in
that category, surpassing 2015, which had seven national telecasts. Talent for
the game will be announced by ESPN at a later date.
Kentucky, which is off it its best start in
program history through 26 games in a season, at 23-3 overall, opens up its
first Southeastern Conference home series on Friday beginning at 6 p.m. ET against
Ole Miss. That game, along with Saturday and Sunday’s games will all be shown
live on the SEC Network+, ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app.
