LEXINGTON, Kty. – Kentucky’s softball doubleheader with South Dakota State, originally scheduled for a 6 p.m. Monday start at the UK Softball Stadium, has been cancelled due to inclement weather. The games will not be rescheduled.

The Wildcats return to action on Thursday, as UK travels to Murfreesboro, Tenn., for a doubleheader at Middle Tennessee State. UK also hosts the Kentucky Invitational this weekend. The tournament begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at the UK Softball Stadium and features Ohio, Wright State, Eastern Kentucky, Kent State and Indiana State, in addition to the host Wildcats.
