UK takes 12-8-1 record to Oxford

The Kentucky softball team continues play in the Southeastern Conference this weekend when it travels to Oxford, Miss., for a three-game series with the Ole Miss Rebels. The Cats will face the SEC foe in a doubleheader on Saturday, March 12 beginning at 1 p.m., with the series concluding Sunday at the same time.

UK (12-8-1, 1-5 SEC) is coming off a three-game sweep at the hands of No. 13 Tennessee in a mid-week series at home. Amber Janneck led the Cats? charge against the Lady Vols, hitting two home runs and accounting for all three of Kentucky?s runs in the series. The Rebels (4-15) will be opening conference action with the series.
