LEXINGTON, Ky. ? The University of Kentucky softball team will face three schools from the Bluegrass State during its fall schedule. All of the fall games will be played at the UK Softball Complex.

The fall slate kicks off on Sunday, September 30, when the Cats host Kentucky Wesleyan for a pair of games. The doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

The schedule wraps up with a trio of games on October 5 when the Cats will face Eastern Kentucky and Bellarmine. Kentucky will face the Colonels at 4 pm, followed by a 6 pm contest between EKU and Bellarmine. The tripleheader concludes when the Wildcats take on Bellarmine at 8 pm in the final game of the fall slate.

The Wildcats return 11 players from the 2007 squad that finished 20-31 on the year. Kentucky also welcomes four newcomers to the roster of first-year head coach Rachel Lawson.
