2017 Kentucky Softball Season Kicks Off in Orlando
ORLANDO, Fla. – The University of
Kentucky softball will begin its 2017 season on Friday afternoon, as it
competes in the University of Central Florida’s Knights Invitational at the UCF
Softball Complex over the duration of the weekend.
The Wildcats will play five games over three
days, with two games each on Friday and Saturday in addition to a game on
Sunday morning before making the trip home to Lexington.
Kentucky will play the first two games of the
Knights Invitational on Friday morning, facing the Florida A&M University
Rattlers at 10:00 a.m. ET before a 12:30 p.m. ET showdown with the Pitt Panthers.
All games of the UCF Invitational will be played at the UCF Softball Complex.
Saturday’s schedule commences at 10 a.m. ET
with the second of two games against Pittsburgh before a 3:30 p.m. ET game with
the host Knights of UCF. The game against UCF can be seen live online at
UCFKnights.com for a fee.
On Sunday, the Wildcats will play Florida
A&M at 9:30 a.m. ET to wrap up the opening weekend of the season.
