• Won the SEC men’s 3000m steeplechase Championship, breaking the meet and facility record with a time of 8:26.33
• Broke the UK 3000m steeplechase record his outdoor debut at the Stanford Invitational, placing second in the event with a time of 8:22.67
• Won the men’s steeplechase national quarterfinal at the NCAA East First Rounds with an 8:24.91 mark
• Finished fifth in both the national semifinal and final at the NCAA Championships in Eugene
• Placed second at the Tom Jones Invitational with a personal best time of 3:42.63
• Finished fifth in the steeplechase event at the Jim Green Invitational with a time of 3:43.65

Indoor

• Made his Kentucky indoor debut at the Sharon Colyear Danville Season Opener
• Placed 20th at the Razorback Invitational with a 4:00.27 time
• Placed 34th at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational with a time of 7:55.30
