Kentucky Earns No. 12 Seed in SEC Tourney, Play-In Game Tuesday

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Softball team has earned the No. 12 seed in the 2024 Southeastern Conference Softball Tournament and will play in the play-in game against 13th-seeded Ole Miss on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. ET.

The 2024 SEC Tournament will be held at Jane B. Moore Field in Auburn, Alabama hosted by Auburn University. The game between UK and Ole Miss will be broadcasted live on SEC Network with Kevin Brown and Amanda Scarbrough on the call from The Plains.

Tennessee earned the No. 1 seed via its SEC regular season championship for the tournament. The other three teams to earn the double-bye were (2) Florida, (3) Texas A&M and (4) Arkansas.

If Kentucky were to win Tuesday night in the play-in game, it would play fifth-seeded Missouri in the first round on Wednesday at approximately 1:30 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
