Women’s Tennis to Begin Spring Season with Sunday Doubleheader

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky women’s tennis will begin its 2024 spring match slate on Sunday at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Center facing ETSU at 10 a.m. EST and Miami (Ohio) at 3 p.m.

The Wildcats will hit the court for doubles and singles competition under the direction of head coach Shelley Jaudon in her first season at the helm of the program. She is joined by assistant coaches Diego Garavito and Stephen Ward who joined the program at the conclusion of the 2023 spring.

UK’s 2024 squad features returners Lizzy Stevens, Makayla Mills, Ellie Eades, Lidia Gonzalez, Maialen Morante, Zoe Hammond and Ellie Myers with newcomer Julia Zhu making her Wildcat debut.

Kentucky will host Penn State next Saturday at 10 a.m. before traveling to Chapel Hill, N.C. for ITA Kickoff Weekend (Jan. 26-27). For the full 2024 spring match slate with locations and times, click here.
