UK Cheer Finishes Sixth in UCA Game Day Competition

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky cheerleading squad finished in sixth place in the Universal Cheerleaders Association Game Day competition on Friday in Orlando.

The UCA Game Day competition is judged on the execution of game day materials and cheers, including the school’s fight song and sideline cheers.

Kentucky won the Game Day national championship in 2021.

UK will begin competition in the Division 1A Large Coed Division on Saturday. Kentucky has won the coed title 24 times, more than any other school.
