Kentucky STUNT Hosts Blue/White Scrimmage on Saturday

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky STUNT team will kick off its third season with the Blue/White scrimmage this Saturday, Jan. 13, at Frederick Douglass High School in Lexington.

Doors open at 11 a.m. and the scrimmage will begin at noon. Admission is free and fans should enter through the Frederick Douglass High School cafeteria, which is on the back side of the school. Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the school cafeteria.

STUNT is a head-to-head competition between two teams that focuses on the technical and athletic aspects of cheer. It is one of the fastest-growing female sports in the United States.

The UK STUNT team will begin its regular season in Lexington on Feb. 3, facing Ashland and Alma. Those games will be played at Transylvania University’s Clive M. Beck Center.
