Kentucky Softball to be Broadcasted on UK Sports Network Radio

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The UK Sports Network in conjunction with JMI Sports announced Wednesday morning that four Kentucky Softball home games will be broadcasted live on radio this season, beginning Friday night at 6:30 p.m. ET as Kentucky opens up its Southeastern Conference home schedule with Texas A&M.

The four games will be broadcasted on the UK Sports Network’s 98.5 FM affiliate in the Lexington area with Andrew Kappes on the call from John Cropp Stadium. Kentucky Softball will also be on the UK Sports Network for games against Louisville, No. 3 Tennessee and No. 11 Florida throughout the course of the home season.

The radio call can also be accessed via UKathletics.com and the UK Athletics app.

Friday, March 24 vs. Texas A&M (6:30pm ET)

Wednesday, March 29 vs. Louisville (6:30pm ET)

Sunday, April 16 vs. No. 3 Tennessee (2pm ET)

Saturday, May 6 vs. Florida (3pm ET)

Kentucky opens a three-game series with No. 21 Texas A&M this weekend, its first SEC home series of the year as it looks to build on its 3-0 conference record to this point. Friday night’s game is at 6:30 p.m. ET with Saturday’s showdown at 2 p.m. ET and the series finale Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. All three games of the series have tickets available at UKathletics.com.
