
Women’s Tennis Begins SEC Play in Starkville
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky women’s tennis (5-3) will travel to Starkville, Miss. on Friday to take on Mississippi State (10-1) for a 4 p.m. EST matchup.
The Wildcats are looking for its second road victory of the 2023 campaign following a 4-3 victory over Purdue two weeks ago and canceled match against Michigan last weekend. The win against the Boilermakers was the first away W for UK so far this season.
Mississippi State is 10-1 so far on the spring season and is coming off a 7-0 win over Alabama A&M on Feb. 10.
The Cats and Bulldogs last went head-to-head in the 2022 campaign which resulted in a Kentucky 1-4 loss in Lexington.
