UK Signee Chelsea Mack Wins Cleveland POY and PGF All-American

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Kentucky Softball signee Chelsea Mack was named the 2022 Cleveland.com Softball High School Player of the Year, and was also named a Premier Girls Fastpitch (PGF) All-American, adding two more honors to her prestigious resume.

Mack set a new Ohio High School Athletics Association record for most stolen bases in a single high school season with 81 in 2022 for the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees. Mack also had stellar numbers in batting average, hitting .726 for the season, closing her career with a .602 career mark and 77 hits.

Mack, a centerfielder, will be joining Kentucky in the fall of 2022 with her freshman season coming in 2023.

Additionally, Mack was selected to the exclusive club of PGF All-Americans that was recently unveiled. She will represent the East Team for the 2022 PGF All-American Game that will be nationally televised on ESPNU at 7 p.m. ET.
