Kentucky vs. Northwestern Sold Out, Mask Policies Revised

by Chris Shoals

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Athletics department announced that its NCAA Lexington Regional opening game between (14) Kentucky and Northwestern has sold out. Additionally, there have been revisions made to the event’s mask policy.

In conjunction with updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), all fully vaccinated individuals will no longer need to wear masks while inside John Cropp Stadium. For those whom are immunocompromised, or unvaccinated, masks will still be strongly encouraged.

Kentucky Athletics event staffers will still be wearing masks and physical distance when applicable. Fans will also be encouraged to practice physical distancing when possible.

A limited number of tickets are still available for Games 2-6 of the Regional at this time. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets in advance through UKathletics.com/SBregional.
