FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Fifth-seeded Kentucky (17-6, 7-5 Southeastern Conference) is set to kick off its first postseason run in two years with a matchup against SEC Championship host and 12th-seeded Arkansas (10-13, 3-9 SEC) on Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET.

The Razorbacks advanced to Tuesday’s contest after a 4-0 sweep of 13th-seeded Vanderbilt on Monday.

The Wildcats last competed more than a week ago in a two-match homestand that featured a 5-2 win over then-No. 12 Ole Miss and a 4-0 sweep of No. 16 Mississippi State, completing a perfect 15-0 run at Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex.

Kentucky ended the regular season with a No. 14 placement in the Oracle ITA computerized national rankings, while sophomore Liam Draxl climbed all the way to No. 1 in the singles rankings. No. 21 Gabriel Diallo made his debut in the singles top 25 alongside Draxl, while five Wildcats overall appeared in the national top 125. Diallo and César Bourgois led the way in doubles play with a new peak ranking of No. 11.

Arkansas enters Tuesday ranked No. 36 in the nation. The Razorbacks will be seeking revenge for a 7-0 sweep in Lexington, Kentucky, on March 5. The winner between the Cats and Hogs will move on to a matchup with fourth-seeded Texas A&M on Wednesday.
