Kentucky’s Ryan Duffy Wins SVG College Video Award

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky Sports Video’s Ryan Duffy was named the winner of the 2020-21 SVG College Outstanding Special Feature Collegiate Student Award this week, for his video recap of Kentucky Softball’s exciting extra-inning win over Alabama at John Cropp Stadium in Lexington.
 
Duffy, a native of Chicago, Illinois, took the award for the second year in a row.
 
Duffy’s winning video in 2020-21 was titled “Don’t Call it a Comeback” featuring Kentucky coming from behind from 4-0 down in the sixth inning vs. No. 3 Alabama to defeat the Crimson Tide 5-4 in eight innings as Rylea Smith walked off the game with Tatum Spangler scoring the game-winning run at home.
