UKTF Rakes In at CATSPY Awards

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Yet again, the Kentucky track and field program was well represented at the annual CATSPY Awards.

Freshman Phenom Sydney McLaughlin was named Freshman of the Year.

A host of NCAA Champions were honored for “Performance of the Year.”

Olivia Gruver, who won the NCAA pole vault gold shared the honor with NCAA 4x100m relay champions Destiny Carter, Jasmine Camacho-Quinn, Kayelle Clarke, Kianna Gray and Precious Hitchcock for women’s Performance of the Year.

Tim Duckworth took home men’s Performance of the Year for his NCAA heptathlon title.

Ethan Shalaway was honored with the Community Service Award.
