The Kentucky men’s tennis team made quick work of Cleveland State on Friday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, beating the Vikings 4-0 at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex.
Junior Eric Quigley clinched the match with a 6-2, 6-2 victory on court No. 1.
Next up for the Cats in the second round is archrival Louisville, which dispatched of Cornell 4-0 on Friday. It will be the first meeting of the two rivals since 2005.
