Most Players at Home: Most of the Wildcats are home for the month of May, then will return to Lexington in June. Approximately 25-30 players are in the Lexington area and working out.

Coaches in Spring Recruiting Period: The spring recruiting period is in progress for the UK coaching staff. Coaches are allowed to visit high schools, meet with principals, coaches and counselors, visit athletic combines, and evaluate athletic competition, such as spring football practice, baseball, track, etc.

Four Wildcats Playing in NFL Europe: Four former Kentucky Wildcats are playing in NFL Europe, including DB Willie Gary with the Scottish Claymores, WR Jimmy Robinson with the Rhein Fire, and RB Derek Homer and DE Matt Layow with the Barcelona Dragons.

Four games into the schedule, Gary has 15 tackles and two pass breakups. He is under contract with the St. Louis Rams.

Robinson has caught 11 passes for 115 yards and two touchdowns, both of which were game-winning TDs in victories over Scotland and Berlin. He is under contract with the New Orleans Saints.

Homer has carried the ball 27 times for 156 yards, a 5.8-yard average, and one touchdown. He also has caught five passes for 46 yards. His contract is owned by the Baltimore Ravens.

Layow has made eight tackles this season, including one quarterback sack. He is under contract with the New York Giants.
