LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) – Keith Bogans scored 24 points and Tayshaun Prince added 19 as Kentucky beat Athletes in Action 94-84 in an exhibition game Thursday night.

Saul Smith and Cliff Hawkins each added 12 for the Wildcats (0-2), who rebounded from back-to-back losses to St. John’s and UCLA in the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic last week.

Reed Rawlings scored 25, Ryan Hoover 21 and Keith Johnson 15 to lead Athletes in Action, a team of former collegiate players.

The Wildcats, who shot 31-of-62 from the field, trailed by as many as five. But they took the lead for good on two straight 3-pointers by Bogans to make it 22-19 midway through the first half.

Kentucky led 39-33 at halftime, and sealed it with a 13-3 run midway through the second half.
