No. 7 Kentucky Hosts Morehead State on SEC Network Wednesday

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The No. 8/7 Kentucky Softball plays host to Morehead State on Wednesday night at John Cropp Stadium for an in-state midweek showdown that will air live on the SEC Network with Tiffany Greene and former Tennessee All-American, Madi Shipman on the call. The game also airs live on the SEC Network, ESPN3 and the ESPN app.
 
Kentucky is 25-4 on the season and 3-3 in the Southeastern Conference after a series win over No. 3 Alabama over the weekend. This is the reinstatement of a series that has not been played since 2012 as UK’s commitment to playing in-state foes continues as the Wildcats will play their fifth in-state team on the schedule in 2021.
 
Morehead State is 6-17 on the young season and will come to Lexington looking to snap an eight-game losing streak it currently holds. MSU has played a host of Kentucky schools, including conference games against Eastern Kentucky so far this season.
