Senior (2016): SEC PITCHER OF THE YEAR … FIRST TEAM ALL-SEC … SEC Pitcher of the Week (4/11) … SEC Pitcher of the Week (4/18) … USA Softball/ASA Finalist for National Player of the Year … Selected fifth overall in the first round of the 2016 NPF Draft by the USSSA Pride … NCAA leader in career innings pitched for an active player with 926.0 … Had a perfect game going into the bottom of the last inning against Texas Tech, and lost it with one out with a single to left field in the Campbell/Cartier Classic … Returned to her hometown of Chattanooga to throw a win agaisnst the Lady Mocs, and record a new career high for strikeouts with 12 … Those 12 strikeouts would later be matched in a relief appearance against Charlotte, where she worked six innings and struck out 12 batters … Has a team-best ERA of 1.28 with a 20-5 record … Has only allowed 30 earned runs in 32 appearances this season … Leads Kentucky and the SEC with 188 strikeouts … Came on to get the first save for Kentucky pitching this season with two outs against Indiana in the top of the seventh … Had wins in two of the three games in South Carolina, including a shutout in six innings of work, only allowing three hits in the Sunday game … Came on to pitch 5.1 innings of shutout ball against Marshall and collect her 10th win of the season … Got the win in the rubber game of the Ole Miss series, pitching 3.2 innings of shutout ball … Picked up two wins against Arkansas on Friday and Sunday to cap off a weekend road sweep of the Razorbacks … Struck out 11 Auburn batters in a tough-luck loss on Saturday to the Tigers … Had two complete-game shutouts on the road at No. 8 LSU on Saturday and Monday, including a bases-loaded strikeout in the sixth inning with the tying run in scoring position … Got the series-clinching win over Missouri on Sunday two days after pitching UK to a series-opening win over the No. 18 Tigers … Pitched 6.2 innings in earning the win over No. 4 Alabama in Tuscaloosa, limiting the potent Alabama offense to just five hits in the game … Recorded win in Battle of the Bluegrass to give UK win over U of L … Pitched a complete-game shutout against Mississippi State to close out a weekend sweep. 

Junior (2015):
Finished season with 14-16 in 211 innings pitched with 194 strikeouts
and only 73 earned runs allowed … Had a 2.42 ERA with opponents
hitting just .229 against her … Broke the school record for career wins
with No. 69 against WKU, where she pitched nine scoreless innings with
nine strikeouts …  Pitched seven strong innings against No. 5 Florida
State, allowing only one run – none earned – on two hits with three
strikeouts to earn Co-SEC Pitcher of the Week honors … Went seven
innings against Tennessee Tech with one unearned run allowed and five
strikeouts … Tossed 14.2 innings vs. TAMU with a 2.39 ERA and 15
strikeouts … Tossed nine innings in relief in the three-game series
vs. Ohio with no runs allowed and only one hit … Tossed five total
innings in the DH at Murray State picking up a save, which was the fifth
of her career … Had a stretch of 15 straight scoreless innings
snapped at Auburn, when she went 0-2 with five earned runs allowed in 10
innings pitched … Brilliant against LSU to earn SEC Co-Pitcher of the
Week honors … Tossed seven innings in the opener vs. the Tigers,
allowing one earned run with three strikeouts … Came on in the
series-clincher vs. LSU to face one batter and throw three pitches to
get the strikeout and her sixth career save, tying the school record for
most career saves … In the series finale vs. LSU, Nunley earned a
tough-luck loss, tossing 6.1 innings with one earned run allowed and
nine strikeouts … At the time, Nunley was the only pitcher in the
nation to strike out nine Tigers in a single game … Nunley tied the
school record for wins against Louisville with seven dominating innings,
including six strikeouts and only five hits allowed … Pitched seven
strong innings against Alabama in a losing effort allowing two earned
runs … Only allowed one earned run in the series finale with South
Carolina, tossing eight innings, but picked up the loss … Has seven
losses when she allowed two earned runs or less … Great in regional
play, tossing 19 innings with five earned runs allowed and 18 strikeouts
… Seven scoreless innings against Ball State, while she also recorded
the win vs. Notre Dame stranding a runner at third base by getting
back-to-back pop ups in the seventh inning on back-to-back pitches …
Went seven innings and allowed just one run against Florida in game two
of the Super Regional.

Sophomore (2014): Topped
her strong freshman campaign with the best season in the circle in
program history, ending 30-11 with a 1.88 ERA in 282.1 innings pitched
with 219 strikeouts … Won all 10 postseason wins for Kentucky … Went
3-1 in the NCAA Lexington Regional with a 0.49 ERA and 31 strikeouts in
28.1 innings pitched … Paced UK to the WCWS with a 2-1 record vs.
highly ranked UCLA in the NCAA Super Regional, allowing four earned runs
in three games with seven strikeouts … Struck out seven batters in
her WCWS debut, allowing one earned run against top-10 ranked
Louisiana-Lafayette … Strong performance vs. the eventual national
runners-up Alabama, allowing two earned runs on three hits in a losing
effort … Threw a no-hitter in UK’s season opener vs. Santa Clara,
striking out a career-high 11 batters … Started SEC play with a
no-hitter against Mississippi State, throwing seven scoreless innings
with six strikeouts … Also tossed seven scoreless innings vs.
Mississippi State in game three, allowing three hits … Bulldog hitters
posted a .068 batting average with Nunley in the circle … She was one
of two SEC players to toss multiple no-hitters and the only one that
tossed a no-hitter against another SEC foe … Record season in UK
single-season history, ranking second in ERA, fourth in win-loss
percentage, first in wins, first in innings pitched, third in
appearances, tied for second in games started, second in complete games,
tied for second in shutouts, second in strikeouts, seventh in opponent
batting average … Went 10 innings to get the win vs. No. 2 Oklahoma,
keeping the Sooners scoreless in extra innings … Earned wins in the
Texas Classic over then-No. 15 Texas and IPFW, who was receiving votes
… Came on to get the save vs. LaTech, the third of her career …
Threw seven innings against Penn State, allowing two hits with four
strikeouts … Got the win vs. Missouri in game two, tossing seven
innings and allowing only two runs … Earned wins over Kansas and Kent
State with seven innings against each, allowing only two runs in each
game in UK’s home tournament … Threw seven strong innings against
highly ranked Auburn to get the win in the series finale, striking out a
career-high tying 11 with only five hits allowed … Shutout a
high-powered Louisville offense for only the sixth time with five
strikeouts and three hits allowed in seven innings … Six strong
innings in game two vs. Texas AaM, allowing one unearned run on five
hits with five strikeouts … Tossed 12.2 innings in the Ole Miss
series, allowing three runs with nine strikeouts and two wins … Came
on in relief vs. Arkansas to pick up two wins in 10 innings of work …
Threw six innings vs. WKU to earn her 20th win of the season … Six
innings in relief to get the win vs. Louisville, allowing two runs on
five hits … Gave up three runs to a high-powered Georgia offense on
Saturday, but responded with 5.2 innings on Sunday allowing only one
unearned run … Brilliant in the SEC Tournament with a 3-0 record and
1.68 ERA, defeating Miss. State, Tennessee and LSU … Held UT scoreless
for only the second time … Is the only player in school history to
win 20 games in a season, accomplishing the feat each of her two years
at UK … Has 412 career Ks to become just the fourth player in school
history to post 300-plus Ks in a career … Has 57 career wins, ranking
second most in program history.

Freshman (2013):
Busted onto the scene as a solid pitching option for Coach Lawson,
setting the school record for most wins in a single season … Finished
the year with a 27-11 record and a 2.14 ERA, leading the team in nearly
every pitching category with 268.2 innings pitched and 193 strikeouts
… Was one of the best pitchers in the SEC, ranking seventh in ERA,
ninth in opposing batting average, second in innings pitched, eighth in
strikeouts, second in batters struck out looking, tied for second in
wins and tied for fifth in saves … Finished tied for 21st nationally
in wins and had more wins than any other freshman in the nation … Wins
against top-20 ranked Alabama, Louisville, Missouri, Florida, Stanford
and Washington … Also had wins over Oregon State, San Diego State and
USCa?^Upstate, who were receiving votes … Named to the Coke Zero
Spartan Classic All-Tournament Team after pitching 10 total innings with
five strikeouts … Picked up back-to-back wins for the Cats in the

… Set the school record for wins in a single season as she amassed 20

sitting down 15 batters by way of the strikeout, and only allowing three

high in several single-season categories: fifth in winning-percentage,

High School:
Four-year letterwinner at Soddy Daisy High School in Soddy Daisy,
Tenn., under head coach Clifford Kirk … Standout player in high school
who was named Player of the Year in Chattanooga three years and also an
All-State honoree three seasons … Has the Tennessee record for most
shutouts in a season … Struck out 13 batters in the Tennessee-Georgia
All-Star game, which was a game record … Had 12 no-hitters her senior
season and 27 in her career to go along with 1,104 strikeouts and only
78 walks … Senior season was her best, earning countless awards,
including Buck Johnson Award, Armed Forces Scholar Athlete Award,
Tennessee Softball Gatorade Player of the Year and Wendy’s Heisman Award
… Was named All-American in 2012 by NFCA, MaxPreps and ESPN … Led
team to State Championship in 2010 and 2012, while posting runner-up
finish in 2011 … Active in extracurricular activities as member of
National Honor Society, Beta Club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes
… Was voted Most Athletic Girl by high school peers and was a
