Kentucky Women’s Soccer Releases Spring Schedule
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky women’s soccer head coach Troy Fabiano announced the team’s 2023 spring schedule on Thursday, a slate which features a total of four matches during a span of four weeks.
The Wildcats will return to the pitch for their first action of the spring this Sunday, March 26 for a road meeting with Marshall at 5 p.m. The two teams last played in August of 2021, with Kentucky claiming a 3-0 victory over the Thundering Herd.
Kentucky will take to the Wendell and Vickie Bell Soccer Complex on April 2 when the Cats square off against Miami (OH). Match time is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The Wildcats and RedHawks met this fall in an exhibition match, a 1-0 win for Kentucky.
UK heads to Highland Heights on Thursday, April 6 for a 7:30 p.m. road matchup with the Northern Kentucky Norse, before concluding the spring on home turf versus Morehead State on Sunday, April 23 at 7 p.m. Kentucky last faced NKU during the 2019 season, earning a 1-0 victory at home. The Wildcats and Eagles have not met since August of 2018, a 2-1 overtime win for the Cats.
Admission to all Kentucky women’s soccer home contests will be free to the public.
