Women’s Soccer Completes Staff, Brings On Marco Fabiano as Assistant Coach

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky Women’s Soccer completed its 2026 staff with the addition of assistant coach Marco Fabiano, head coach Troy Fabiano announced Monday.

Fabiano comes to Lexington after spending the last two seasons at Mercer. During his time in Macon, the Bears earned double digit wins in 2024 and 2025 and advanced to the Southern Conference Tournament championship match in 2025.

Fabiano began his career as an assistant coach for the men’s team at Wisconsin-Parkside from 2022-2023. While in Parkside, the Rangers advanced to the NCAA Tournament in both seasons and rose to as high as No. 6 in Division II in 2023.

Fabiano played collegiate soccer as Milwaukee from 2017-2019 and Wisconsin-Parkside from 2019-2021. He graduated from Wisconsin-Parkside with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management in 2021 and a Master of Business Administration in 2022.

Fabiano also has experience coaching at the club level, coaching as Red Star Soccer Club in Kenosha, Wisc. beginning in 2017 and rising to Director of Coaching in 2021.
