Women’s Soccer Unveils 2026 SEC Schedule
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky women’s soccer unveiled its 2026 Southeastern Conference schedule on Wednesday, featuring ten matches from mid-September to the first of November. The Wildcats are set to play five matches against teams that advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2025 and will face off against Texas for the first time as conference foes.
Kentucky will open conference play at the Bell Soccer Complex on Friday, September 11, hosting Texas A&M. The two teams met a season ago, with the Wildcats earning the program’s first victory over the Aggies with a 3-0 win in College Station.
After opening league play at home, the Cats will play at both of the league’s Columbias in consecutive matches, first at Missouri on Friday, September 18 and next at South Carolina on Thursday, September 24. Kentucky earned home wins against both teams in 2025, defeating the Tigers, 1-0, and the Gamecocks, 3-2.
The Wildcats will complete their first of two multi-match conference weekends on Sunday, September 27, returning to Lexington to host Mississippi State. The two teams last met in 2024, with the Bulldogs earning a 1-0 win in Starkville.
The first half of the league slate will wrap up with a trip to Music City as Kentucky travels to 2025 NCAA Quarterfinalist Vanderbilt on Friday, October 2. In the series’ most recent meeting, the Commodores claimed a 2-1 victory in Lexington last season.
The back half of the schedule will start with Texas making the trip to the Bell on Friday, October 9. The match will be the first meeting between the two teams since the Longhorns joined the SEC in 2024.
Kentucky will close out its road matches with a two-match weekend at Auburn and at Tennessee. The Cats will make their first trip to the Plains on Thursday, October 15 before heading to Knoxville to close out the weekend against the Lady Vols on Sunday, October 19.
The Wildcats will close out October by hosting Ole Miss on Friday, October 23 before rounding out the regular season against Arkansas on Sunday, November 1. The Cats will play the Razorbacks for the first time in 2022—Troy Fabiano’s first season—with the Hogs playing in Lexington for the first time since 2020.
