What are the payment deadlines and options for my 2026 season tickets?
All season ticket holders must be paid in full or enrolled in a payment plan by April 10, 2026. No-interest payment plans are available when renewing online through My UK Athletics Account. Your initial payment is due upon sign up, and remaining payments will be automatically charged to your credit/debit card based on the following schedule. Please note, February 20 is the final day to renew to lock in the first slate of Big Blue Renewal Rewards.
- 5-month Payment Plan – sign up by February 20 (20%); March 13 (20%), April 10 (20%), May 8 (20%), June 5 (20%).
- 4-month Payment Plan – sign up by March 13 (25%); April 10 (25%); May 8 (25%); June 5 (25%).
- 3-month Payment Plan – sign up by April 10 (33%); May 8 (33%); June 5 (34%).
Can I complete my renewal by mail?
The fastest and most efficient way to renew tickets is online through your My UK Athletics Account. Printable renewal invoices are available in your online account. Renewal invoices will be mailed in early March to those who do not renew by Feb. 20.
I ordered Wildcat Seatbacks for the 2025 season. Will I need to re-order for 2026?
If you ordered Wildcat Seatbacks for the 2025 season either through the UK Ticket Office or directly through UKWildcatSeats.com, your seatback order has already been included on your 2026 renewal invoice, and you will see this item on your online renewal summary. You will not need to re-order for this fall. If you did not order seatbacks in 2025 and would like to purchase them for 2026, you may do so when renewing your tickets online or you may order directly through UKWildcatSeats.com. These items sold out early last summer, so don’t delay!
How can I upgrade my seats?
After the renewal deadline, season ticket holders who have renewed their seats and are interested in changing seat locations will have an opportunity to participate in our upgrade process via the online Virtual Venue, provided you opt-in during the renewal process. Prior to the renewal deadline, you may also call the UK Ticket Office to inquire about adding/upgrading into available inventory from last season. Will tickets be mobile for the 2026 season?
Yes, all tickets will be issued via mobile delivery, to provide the safest and most convenient experience for Big Blue Nation. Ticket holders may use the UK Athletics app to access and manage their tickets. We will notify everyone in August when mobile tickets are available to be managed. How can I become a new season ticket holder?
We are now on sale with 2026 season ticket deposits! Fans interested in new season tickets should submit their information using this link to get a personal call from a ticket representative to best assist with selecting seats. What changes are happening to the discount policy for UK Faculty/Staff?
Please note that university employee ticket policies have changed as of July 1, 2025 and season ticket discounts are being phased out. Did prices change for the 2026 season?
We are pleased to share that we are maintaining base season ticket prices at the same level as the 2025 season, with the exception of new chairback seating in certain areas on the north side.
Note that as part of several policy changes that were announced in the summer of 2025, ticket prices are now inclusive of all fees due to a new Federal Trade Commission rule. Per-order fees on season tickets have been eliminated, and per-ticket fees are now included in the cost of each ticket. Click here for the 2026 season ticket pricing map, inclusive of fees.
The evolving college sports model is ushering in a new era that includes revenue sharing with student-athletes. This shift, along with inflation and other rising costs, is expected to add $20-$30 million annually to the UK Athletics budget. We will continue to evaluate pricing annually in order to adjust to market forces and the revenue growth required for the program to strive toward championships.

Kroger Field Enhancements
What renovations and enhancements are coming to Kroger Field?
In January 2026, the Champions Blue LLC., Board of Governors reviewed a series of strategic enhancements to Kroger Field, marking an important next step to increasing revenues required for Kentucky Athletics to continue competing at the highest level in a rapidly evolving college athletics landscape.
The stadium enhancements were formally presented to the Champions Blue Board as part of the department’s long-range planning process. While several of the targeted upgrades are still being studied, the enhancements will expand premium areas, improve fan amenities, and create new year-round revenue opportunities across the athletics complex.
What changes are happening for the 2026 season?
North 200-Level Chairbacks
Brand new chairback seating will be added in the first six rows (labeled rows 2-7) in the north 200-level, from sections 202-210. Existing bleacher seats will be replaced by chairbacks to enhance comfort and expand chairback availability. New chairbacks in this area will have cupholders and will be 21-22 inches wide, featuring some of the widest seats in the venue. All other seating in the north 200-level will remain bleachers with backs.
North 100-Level Chairbacks
Brand new chairback seating will be added in sections 105-106, replacing the original metal chairbacks in those sections. New chairbacks in this area will have cupholders and will be 19-20 inches wide, matching the existing seat count. All other seating in the north 100-level will remain bleachers with backs.
I currently sit in the sections where new chairbacks are being added for 2026. Will my seats change?
North 200-Level Chairbacks
If you sit in Sections 202-210, Rows 2-7, chairbacks are being added in these locations, and we will lose a small number of seats. The vast majority of season ticket holders in this area will be able to keep their same seat locations for 2026; however, you may notice a change in your actual seat numbers due to shifting season ticket accounts within some rows. For example, your previous tickets may have been in Section 202, Row 3, Seats 21-22 and now your seats will be numbered 19-20, but they will be in the same position.
A limited number of season ticket holders in this area will need to change rows for the 2026 season, and these accounts have been contacted directly by the UK Ticket Office with more information on choosing new seats. Everyone who currently sits in Sections 202-210, Rows 2-7 will be able to maintain chairback seating if they wish. If you sit in this area and wish to move to a different area, please reach out to the UK Ticket Office to discuss options.
North 100-Level Chairbacks
If you sit in Sections 105-106, chairbacks are being replaced in these locations, and our seat count will remain the exact same. All season ticket holders in this area will be able to keep their same seat locations for 2026.
How can I upgrade into the new chairback seats or buy new seats here?
Remaining inventory in Sections 202-210, Rows 2-7 will first be available as part of the seat upgrade process this spring. If you are interesting in moving into these chairbacks, be sure to opt-in to the upgrade process when you renew your season tickets by April 10.
For those interested in buying new season tickets in this area, place a deposit today. Availability will be determined after seat upgrades are complete.
Remember, new chairbacks in this area will have cupholders and will be 21-22 inches wide, featuring some of the widest seats in the venue. These prime seats offer a fantastic view of the game!
How much are the new chairback seats?
With the addition of chairbacks in the front of Sections 202-210, there will be a modest price increase in those areas for 2026, and we will continue to evaluate pricing annually.
Is the entire north side of the stadium getting chairback seats?
No. New chairback seating will be added in Sections 202-210, Rows 2-7 on the north side. Chairbacks will also be replaced in Sections 105-106. This project is happening alongside planned stadium maintenance throughout the north side of Kroger Field this offseason.
What changes are happening for the 2027 season and beyond?
South 200-Level Chairbacks
While details are still being finalized for 2027, it is likely that brand new chairback seating will be added in the first six rows (labeled rows 2-7) in the south 200-level, from sections 222-230, replacing the original metal chairbacks in those sections. No changes will happen to this area for 2026, and ticket holders will receive more information once plans for 2027 are finalized.
New Premium Spaces/Other Projects
An exact timeline has not been finalized for other targeted upgrades that are actively being studied, including potential west endzone terrace seating, a potential west endzone field club, and potential scoreboard patio clubs.
