Ticket Policies, Security & Resale

Purchase & Resale

 

UK Athletics strives to provide fans with a ticketing experience that is convenient, safe and secure. Only tickets purchased directly through the following outlets are guaranteed to be valid. UK Athletics cautions against purchasing tickets through other outlets that may be unable to provide this assurance.

All UK Athletics tickets are barcoded and will be scanned for validity at the venue’s entrance. Admission will be denied for invalid and/or counterfeit tickets. For more information about counterfeit tickets and resale policies, visit UKathletics.com/TicketSecurity.

Transfer of Tickets

 

The purchase of season tickets is not a property right, but rather a privilege that is assigned annually to you by UK Athletics. Season ticket holder privileges may only be transferred one time to a spouse or child. K Fund priority points and rankings are non-transferable. Please contact the UK Ticket Office at (800) 928-2287 (Option 4) for information on how to transfer your season tickets.

Ticket Resale

 

Kentucky has partnered with Ticketmaster to bring fans a 100% verified resale marketplace, specifically authorized by UK Athletics. Ticketmaster’s resale marketplace is completely integrated with UK Athletics’ ticketing system and uses barcode verification technology to ensure the authenticity of all tickets. As the official fan-to-fan marketplace of Big Blue Nation, Ticketmaster provides fans with reliable and convenient access to purchase tickets for games and sections that otherwise may be sold out as well as post verified tickets for sale. Infant Tickets

 

Everyone, regardless of age, must have a ticket for admission for all home football and men’s basketball games.

Fans wishing to bring infants (12 months and under) to a Kentucky football game at Kroger Field may purchase a lap ticket at a discounted rate of $10. This ticket will allow the infant to enter the venue, but that infant must sit on their parent/guardian’s lap. If a seat must be occupied by the infant and/or carrier, a regular ticket must be purchased. Lap tickets are only available on game day and may be purchased at the Kroger Field ticket office (between Gates 9 & 10) for $10, when accompanied by an adult with a ticket. This lap ticket policy only applies to regular-season home football contests.

Student ID Required Tickets

 

Tickets printed with “Student ID Required” are sold to full-time University of Kentucky students at an exclusive rate. Due to this, only UK students with their valid UK student ID will be able to gain admission to Rupp Arena and Kroger Field with these tickets. The general public are unable to gain admission on student tickets. Fans purchasing tickets through the outlets listed above can be assured that they are not accidentally buying student tickets that require a student ID for entry.

Refunds

 

There are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations on tickets purchased from the UK Ticket Office or any of UK Athletics’ authorized sellers/partners. All sales are final.

Social Media

 

Ticket holders should be aware of the potential risks of posting pictures of their tickets, specifically the barcode, on the internet in any way. The barcode is the most valuable piece of information on a ticket. Please treat it as you would your credit card information. Always #CoverTheCode when posting pictures of tickets online, and avoid taking screenshots that expose personal information like your name, address or credit card information.

Address Changes

 

Address changes may be made by logging into My UK Account or My UK Athletics Student Account. Alternatively, fans may send an email to uktickets@uky.edu from the email address on file in the account to change an address. For security purposes, address changes may not be made by phone.

Ticket Donations

 

UK Athletics is unable to provide complimentary tickets as a donation item. In an effort to assist individuals and/or groups with acquiring tickets for fundraising/charitable purposes, we are happy to assist non-profit, charitable organizations within the state of Kentucky with the purchase of up to four (4) tickets at a group rate, when available. Tickets and/or group rates may not be available for all events. Game Dates & Times

 

Game times for many events are determined by television coverage and may not be decided until 5-10 days prior to the event. UK Athletics reserves the right to change game dates, times, opponents and the venue without prior notice. Fans should refer to the schedule posted on UKathletics.com for the most up-to-date game information. Refunds will not be issued due to a time or date change.

Venue & Entry Policies

 

  • Ticket holders and their belongings may be searched upon entry into any UK Athletics venue, and prohibited items may be confiscated. A clear bag policy is in effect at select venues. To learn more about the SEC and Kentucky’s clear bag policy, visit UKathletics.com/ClearBag.
  • Ticket holders expressly grant the University and its licensees the right to use the holder’s image or likeness in connection with any live or recorded transmission or reproduction of such event, for any purposes, including promotional purposes, without further authorization or consideration.
  • The use of all tobacco products inside and outside on University of Kentucky’s campus, including the football stadium and surrounding parking lots, is strictly prohibited. Rupp Arena is also a non-smoking facility.
  • Open umbrellas are not permitted in seating areas of any UK Athletics venue.
  • Any unauthorized person entering the competition area is subject to arrest and prosecution for trespass. There are no pass outs for re-entry.
  • Artificial noisemakers are not permitted by SEC regulations.

Invalid, Duplicate & Counterfeit Tickets

 

All UK Athletics tickets are barcoded and will be scanned for validity at the venue entrance. Invalid, altered, duplicate and counterfeit tickets will not grant entrance into the venue. If any of these tickets are discovered once inside of the facility, UK Athletics has the right to escort the ticket holder from the venue. Event staff personnel and ticket office staff may confiscate fraudulent tickets for law enforcement purposes.

Print-At-Home Tickets

 

UK Athletics continuously strives to implement technological advances to provide our fans with a ticketing experience that is convenient, safe and secure. UK Athletics is excited to introduce mobile ticketing as a complement to traditional hard stock paper tickets. Mobile ticketing increases the security of the ticket buying and event entry process to ensure your visit is an enjoyable one. Print-at-home paper tickets (PDFs) have been discontinued beginning with the 2019-20 season so as to further combat fraud and counterfeiting commonly associated with PDF tickets. Please note, PDF or print-at-home tickets will not be accepted at any UK Athletics venue, including Rupp Arena. For more information, contact the UK Ticket Office at (800) 928-2287 (Option 4).

This ticket is a revocable license. Management may revoke the license and eject or refuse entry to the holder for violation of venue rules, illegal activity or misconduct. UK Athletics reserves the right to change game dates, times, opponents and the venue without prior notice. Tickets shall not be sold in the immediate vicinity of the ticket office. Selling or offering to sell tickets to this event for a price greater than the price charged by the Athletic Department or its designees is illegal in Kentucky, unless such sale is authorized by the University. Only tickets purchased directly from the UK Ticket Office, Rupp Arena Box Office, Ticketmaster, FEVO or the visiting team ticket office are guaranteed to be valid. The UK Ticket Office cautions against purchasing tickets through unauthorized sellers. All UK Athletics tickets are barcoded and will be scanned for validity at the venue’s entrance. If lost, stolen or destroyed, this ticket will not be replaced.
