Fall 2011>> Had one of the best fall seasons on the team, finishing with a 17-2 record en route to a No. 36 ranking … Best showing came at the SEC Coaches’ Indoor Championships, where he became Kentucky’s first singles winner at the event in over 23 years … Last winner was Adam Malik in 1989 … Defeated two ranked foes at the event in No. 87 Charlie Jones of Vanderbilt in the round of 16 and No. 10 Sadio Doumbia of Georgia in the final … Enters the spring having won seven consecutive matches … Advanced to the semifinals of the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Indoor Championships, taking down a top-50 player along the way … Only loss at that event came to fellow teammate Alex Musialek in the semifinals … Started the fall in style, by taking down the fourth-ranked player in the nation in Henrique Cunha of Duke to win the Duke Fab Four Invitational singles title … Won both his singles matches at the Rainbow Warrior Challenge in Hawaii … Went 6-5 in doubles, mostly with Tom Jomby … Advanced to the quarterfinals of the Southern Intercollegiate, while grabbing one win in the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Indoor Championships … Also made it to the SEC Coaches’ Indoor Championship round of 16.

Spring 2011>> Played extremely well as a sophomore, earning a dual-match record of 20-6 this season and an impressive 10-1 mark in SEC play … 45-20 overall during his two years at UK and 27-10 this season overall … Had one win over a ranked foe in singles in No. 82 Louis Cant of Mississippi State … Won six of his last eight matches on the year that ended with a decision … Gained some big wins for UK throughout the season, including a win that tied the match 3-3 and allowed UK to earn its first win at Florida since 1988 … Performed well in doubles action, defeating two ranked doubles duos and posting a 14-11 dual-match record with partner Alex Musialek … Musialek/Rossi led the team in doubles wins in SEC play with eight … Had a six-match winning streak in doubles during the season, including wins over doubles duos from top-10 ranked Ohio State and Florida and SEC foe Auburn … Won a thrilling doubles match against top-three ranked Ohio State, earning a 9-8 (5) win that sealed the UK point.

Fall 2010>> Finished the fall with an impressive 7-4 record, including advancing deep into several challenging tournaments … Rossi started the fall with a 2-1 showing in the UNLV Invitational … Had good showings in the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championship, advancing to the round of 16 before falling to Rhyne Williams of Tennessee, which starts the 2011 spring season at No. 1 in the country … Gathered two wins in the SEC Coaches Indoor Championships in Knoxville, Tenn., including a solid victory over Matteo Fago of Tennessee before falling to the eventual tournament champion in the round of 16. 

Spring 2010>> Played well for Kentucky is his first collegiate season, posting a 18-10 record … Was 17-9 in dual-match play, mostly at the No. 4 position, where he scored a 12-8 record … Had a 5-1 record at the No. 3, 5 and 6 positions … Started the dual-match season on a four-match winning streak and ended the season winning 10 of his last 13 matches that ended in a decision … Posted a key win in the NCAA Tournament second round against Miguel Muguruza of Georgia Tech, helping Kentucky advance to the NCAA Tournament round of 16 … Was also strong in doubles action with fellow Frenchman Alex Musialek, gathering a 14-8 dual-match record … The doubles tandem went 7-3 in SEC play, which was tied for the best record on the team.

Prior to Kentucky>> Earned French ranking of -4/6 … Won the individual championship Provence as a junior in 2008 … Won the Rognac and Bacelonette tournaments in France as a senior … Played on the Olympique de Marseille soccer team … Held a French Juniors top 10 ranking.

Personal>> Born Dec. 12, 1990 … Son of Claude Rossi and Christiane Mournet … Has an older sister, Yolaine (24) … Majoring in marketing.
