1998 – Competed during his freshman season at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he started every game and was named UW Freshman of the Year… Named to the All-Tournament team at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Invitational.

Pre-College – A co-captain during his senior season at Broken Arrow High School…Also lettered for three years at Holland Hall High School in Tulsa…. A two-time All-Conference and All-North selection… Was All-State as a three-year letter winner in football… Played on the Tulsa Pride club team, which was a national finalist in 1999.
