  • Stephen Gillette was hired as the assistant director of scouting and analytics for the Kentucky Football program in April of 2021.
  • In his role, he helps manage the program’s evaluation process and workflow as well as overseeing the recruiting efforts on the defensive side of the ball … Also helps oversee the student personnel staff and personnel advanced scouting reports.
  • While attending South Carolina, Gillette gained valuable experience working four seasons as a recruiting/personnel assistant in the Gamecocks’ football program.
  • He assisted in the evaluation process and prospect information collection … Also assisted with on-campus prospect visits and oversaw the organization of the recruiting board as well as the general recruiting correspondence campaigns.
  • Graduate magna cum laude from South Carolina in 2019 with a degree in mass communications.
  • Earned his Eagle Scout award in 2014, the highest rank in the Scouts BSA program which demonstrates a Scout’s leadership, community service, and character development.
  • While attending Hempfield High School, he volunteered two seasons (2013-14) as a student coaching assistant/video coordinator for the school’s football team … Also assisted the basketball and lacrosse teams.
  • Received the Citizenship Award in 2014 from the Lancaster County (PA) Daughters of the American Revolution which recognizes high school seniors who show dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism.
  • Originally of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Gillette is married to the former Samantha Shapcott of Davidson, North Carolina.
