Started 18 games, tying the school record for most starts in a season… Went 7-7 while posting a 4.00 ERA, lowest on the Cats’ staff… Allowed only 15 bases on balls in 92.1 innings pitched… Accounted for two of the Cats’ five complete games… Won his collegiate debut going 5.2 innings, striking out four and allowing no earned runs in UK’s 13-2 victory over Charleston Southern (2/12)… Went the distance allowing only five hits and two earned runs in the Cats’ 5-2 defeat of Eastern Illinois (2/26)… Threw a stellar complete game versus Georgia (4/15), giving up just six hits and one earned run to claim the win… Had a strong outing against eventual national champion LSU, going 6.2 innings, giving up only two runs and striking out four (5/6).
