High School: Three-year letterman and two-year starter at St. Thomas Aquinas HS in Canton, Ohio … As a senior, passed for 1,120 yards and 10 touchdowns … Also rushed for 282 yards and five TDs … Top game came when he threw for 202 yards and two scores and added 40 rushing yards against Timken HS … Coached by Joe Nohra … Two-year letterman in track, running the 100-meter dash and 300-meter hurdles … Active in several student honorary and leadership organizations … Won numerous academic honors.
