2002: Hit safely in his first four plate appearances on the season… Earned first career start against Ball State on March 9… Went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBIs, a double and a walk in UK’s 22-5 setback to Ball State at Applebee’s Park (3/9)… Collected hits in four consecutive games going 5-for-11 (.454) with four RBIs and two runs scored… Recorded hits in Southeastern Conference play vs. Auburn (3/16) and South Carolina (4/28).
2001: Saw time in seven games in the UK infield as a freshman… First collegiate hit came on a double in a 23-2 win over Tennessee Tech (4/4)… Went 1-for-1 with a run scored, an RBI and was also hit by a pitch in Kentucky’s win over Tennessee Tech on Apr. 4… Scored first career run at Winthrop, pinch hitting for Spencer Graeter and reached base on a walk, stole second and crossed home plate on a Beau Moore triple in a 10-7 loss to Winthrop in Rock Hill, S.C (2/17)… Went 1-for-5, cracked one double, scored two runs, walked twice and posted one RBI in 2001.
