2005 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in UK’s junior-varsity game and made his only field-goal attempt, good from 27 yards.

High School: Named his district’s Special Teams Player of the Year … An honorable mention all-state selection by the Louisville Courier-Journal … The 2004 KHSAA Region 14 Sportsmanship Award recipient … Started three years as a placekicker and punter for Hazard (Ky.)
