2008 (Sophomore – Football): Incurred a season-ending knee injury against Arkansas in his second start at tailback this season … Led the team in all-purpose yards and was third leading rusher and receiver on the squad despite only playing in seven games … Made good on first start of the season against South Carolina leading the team in both rushing and receiving yards for the second consecutive game … Set career highs in receptions and yards against Alabama with eight catches for 81 yards including a career long 36-yard grab … Became fifth Wildcat in school history to return a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown against WKU.

2008 (Freshman): Outdoor – Leapt into the UK record books in his first outdoor competition by breaking the UK varsity and freshman outdoor long jump marks at the Sea Ray Relays with a jump measuring 25-3.25 … At Mideast Regional, placed 11th overall in the long jump with a distance of 24-8.50 … Placed fifth at SEC Championships with a long jump mark of 24-11, earning All-SEC Freshman Team honors … Indoor – Attained first All-America honor with 12th-place mark of 24-11 at the NCAA Championships … Named SEC Track and Field Male Freshman Field Athlete of the Year after performance at the conference championships … At SEC Championships, set the UK freshman long jump record twice with a leap of 25-2 in the prelims and then topped that mark in the finals on the final attempt to increase the top freshman Wildcat mark to 25-5.25 and place third overall … Also was top freshman at SECs in the 60m dash, clocking in at 6.82 for another All-SEC Freshman honor … Finished seventh with a leap of 24-2.25 at New Balance Collegiate Invitational, recording the fifth-best long jump in UK history at first career collegiate track and field meet earning SEC freshman field athlete of the week honors.

2007 (Freshman – Football): Earned the team’s Most Outstanding First-Year Player Award as picked by the coaches … Played in 12 games, starting two … Team’s second-leading rusher with 521 yards and paced the team in rushing touchdowns (five).

High School: Recognized as high school 2007 All-America selection Track and Field News … Member of the 2007 USA Today High School All-USA Track and Field Team … Owns top-ranked high school performance in the USA for the long jump at 25-4.75 … Locke also holds the Oklahoma state record in the event … Oklahoma state champion in the long jump and 100-meter dash (10.60) … 2007 Great Southwest Long Jump Champion … In football, was Most Valuable Player of Oklahoma Class AAA as a senior … Rushed for over 3,200 yards and scored 51 touchdowns during senior season … Named all-state, all-district, and the Red River Valley Player of the Year … Started at running back as freshman, moved to quarterback as sophomore and junior, then returned to running back as senior … Joined the powerlifting team senior year … Named “Lifter of the Meet” for weight class at state meet … Honor-roll student.
