Coach Collins on Brett – “Brett is a tireless midfield worker. He is always around the ball and that allows him to show-off his skill.”

Pre-College – A three-year scholar athlete at Monte Vista High School… Named an East Bay Athletic League All-Star in 2002… Also earned team MVP in 2002… Captained the varsity squad in 2003, leading team to Nor Cal State Finals… Participated in MV’s student government/leadership program for three years… Received Monte Vista Alumni Award.

Personal – Born March 26, 1985… Parents are Jan and Dennis Smith… Brother is a sponsored snowboarder.. Also enjoys surfing and playing football… Chose UK because of the coaches’ desire to win and their desire to cultivate greatness from all athletes… Plans to major in business management.
