Kentucky STUNT Wins Mid America West Conference Tournament

MARTIN, Tenn. – The Kentucky STUNT team had a record-setting day on Sunday and claimed a championship in the process.

Kentucky beat Missouri State 27-6 to claim a second straight Mid America Conference Tournament championship. The Cats also tied the program record for wins in a season with 29 and established a new program record with their 20th consecutive victory.

Against Missouri State, Kentucky established an early lead by winning four points in the first quarter, partner stunts, while the Bears got one. In quarter two, pyramids and tosses, UK won four points while Missouri State was blanked. Kentucky took an 8-1 lead into the half.

In quarter three, jumps and tumbling, the Cats took five points compared to just one for the Bears. And in the final quarter, team routine, Kentucky earned 14 points compared to just four for Missouri State.

Four UK players earned All-Conference tournament awards. Isabella Doria and Isabella Franzella were named first team all-conference, while Mackenzie Secrest was named to the second team. UK’s Abby Henderson received the Mid America Conference Most Inspirational Award.

Kentucky returns to action in the 2026 College STUNT Nationals, April 23-26 in Nashville. UK’s opponent and the day/time of the game have yet to be determined.
