Kentucky STUNT Tops East Stroudsburg in Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Kentucky STUNT team extended its winning streak to 10 games with a 27-7 win over East Stroudsburg on Thursday night in the Music City Classic at Trevecca Nazarene in Nashville.
Kentucky (19-2) jumped out to an early lead, earning five points in the first quarter, partner stunts, compared to just one for ESU. In the second quarter, pyramids and tosses, UK again claimed five points to just one for the Warriors. The Cats led 10-2 at halftime.
In the third quarter, jumps and tumbling, East Stroudsburg won the first point, but Kentucky won the next three and the Cats took a 13-3 lead into the final period. In the fourth quarter, team routine, the Cats earned 14 points compared to four for the Warriors.
Kentucky returns to action in the Music City Classic on Friday, facing McNeese at 10:25 a.m. ET, then taking on Northern Kentucky at 4:15 p.m. ET.
